A four-time British Designer of the Year, 40-year-old Alexander McQueen was already an icon in the fashion world when he tragically took his own life in February 2010. Following his death, appreciation for the innovative designer’s bold work has only grown, culminating in the Metropolitan Museum of Art honoring McQueen with this major, career-spanning exhibition.
