um- this is how you speak to someone who is dealing with you in a formal manner?
Where is the disconnect buddy – how’d you get all the way over there??
Please folks don’t send texts like this to people whom you are not even friendly like that with. You look absolutely unprofessional and it is not ok. Men OR women. This just looks completely nutzo. I won’t tell you what else went on but call me if you really want to know. Even I cannot believe how awful it got later on.
For the ladies: Expert Advice on avoiding muggings
So. Someone tried to mug me then a couple days after, someone tried to mug Telisa D, the PNC radio host. Well that’s not nice.
It’s been a week. Now I have gathered up some choice advice from the guys on my Timeline .. they want the ladies to have some ideas on what to do if they feel something is about to go down.
O.GeeDITC’s advice:
Who’s Telisa? Oh. One of your peoples? Oh.Ok –
if she’s out at night and it looks like someone is following her, tell her to walk in the MIDDLE of the goddam road. I mean it. Walk in the middle of the street and if the person emerges from the dark still looking like they might approach? Start yelling LOUDLY. Point him out. Let people know “THE MAN RIGHT THERE»> I THINK HE’S ON FIRE.”
O… WHAT IF THERE ARE NO CARS ON THE ROAD OR THE ROAD IS DARK?
A lady can always walk with a pen in hand.
A PEN??
Yes. A pen. Keep it close. In your pocket or so. And wield it like a dagger. A man loses interest in mugging you when you’ve stabbed him and pierced the flesh with a pen. And don’t do it all soft *makes motion* STAB them with it!
BUT WHAT ABOUT COPS, WHAT IF THEY TURN AROUND AND DETAIN THE WOMAN- INSTEAD OF THE MUGGER? WHAT IF THEY DEMAND TO KNOW WHY YOU HAD A PEN OUT LIKE THAT??
